And they shall hearken to thy
voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto
the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of
the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech
thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may
sacrifice to the LORD our God.
said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we
pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice
unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or
with the sword.
And he said, To morrow.
And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know
that there is none like unto the LORD our God.
And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall
sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God:
lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before
their eyes, and will they not stone us?
We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and
sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.
And Moses said, Thou must give us also
sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the
LORD our God.
Our cattle also shall go
with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof
must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with
what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb,
saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:
And when we departed from Horeb, we went
through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by
the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God
commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.

And they took of the fruit of the land in

nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall
The secret things
belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are
revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we
may do all the words of this law.
shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring
the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here

man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name

For there shall
be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry,
Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son

The voice of them that flee
