Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the
LORD Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight
the way of the LORD, as said the prophet Esaias.
When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made
and baptized more disciples than John,
(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where
they did eat bread, after that the LORD had given thanks:)
Then said they unto him, LORD, evermore give us this bread.
Then Simon Peter answered him, LORD, to whom shall we go? thou hast the
words of eternal life.
She said, No man, LORD. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn
thee: go, and sin no more.
He answered and said, Who is he, LORD, that I might believe on him?
And he said, LORD, I believe. And he worshipped him.
(It was that Mary which anointed the LORD with ointment, and wiped his
feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, LORD, behold, he whom thou
lovest is sick.
Then said his disciples, LORD, if he sleep, he shall do well.
Then said Martha unto Jesus, LORD, if thou hadst been here, my brother
had not died.
She saith unto him, Yea, LORD: I believe that thou art the Christ, the
Son of God, which should come into the world.
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at
his feet, saying unto him, LORD, if thou hadst been here, my brother had
And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, LORD, come and
Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was
dead, saith unto him, LORD, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been
dead four days.
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried,
Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the
That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he
spake, LORD, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of
the LORD been revealed?
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, LORD, dost thou
wash my feet?
Simon Peter saith unto him, LORD, not my feet only, but also my hands
and my head.
Ye call me Master and LORD: and ye say well; for so I am.
If I then, your LORD and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to
wash one another's feet.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his
LORD; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, LORD, who is it?
Simon Peter said unto him, LORD, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him,
Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me
Peter said unto him, LORD, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down
my life for thy sake.
Thomas saith unto him, LORD, we know not whither thou goest; and how can
we know the way?
Philip saith unto him, LORD, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, LORD, how is it that thou wilt
manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his
LORD doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have
heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than
his LORD. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if
they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple,
whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out
of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them,
Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD,
and that he had spoken these things unto her.
And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side.
Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.
The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But
he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the
nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the
LORD. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the LORD, he girt his
fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into
Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst
ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the LORD.
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas,
lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, LORD; thou
knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou
me? He saith unto him, Yea, LORD; thou knowest that I love thee. He
saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?
Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou
me? And he said unto him, LORD, thou knowest all things; thou knowest
that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved
following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, LORD,
which is he that betrayeth thee?
Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, LORD, and what shall this man do?
