Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon

And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the

And the LORD spake

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said,
Entreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and

Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Else, if thou wilt not let my people go,

As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people,

Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto
them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and
my people are wicked.
And Moses and

Else, if thou refuse to let my people go,

And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten
the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
They eat up the sin of my people, and they set
their heart on their iniquity.

they have gone a whoring from under their God.
Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I
returned the captivity of my people.
my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called
them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and
praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously
with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and
that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall
never be ashamed.
I will also gather all
nations, and will bring them down into the valley of
Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and
for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the

And they have
cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and
sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I
said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a
plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again
pass by them any more:
And the LORD took
me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go,
prophesy unto my people Israel.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the

And I will bring again the captivity of my
people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and
inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine
thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of

Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off
the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men

The women of my people
have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children
have ye taken away my glory for ever.
also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off
them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as

Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my
